Israel has reached an immigration deal with Ethiopia on Falashmura, so that the entire community will be relocated by the end of 2007.At the same time, India is suddenly making trouble about the conversion and relocation of the Bnei' Menashe. The effort by Israeli rabbis to convert the remaining 7000 people in India has been halted, narrowly averting a crisis in Israel-Indian relations.
