Can I Vomit Now?

Jane Fonda told [Roger Friedman] yesterday she's scrapped plans for anti-war bus trip next March. As well, Fonda will be making only two appearances this month on another rally with controversial British politician George Galloway, not the eight that were widely misreported in the press yesterday.
Well that's a relief! And phew! She's not coming to Galloway's debate with Hitchens in NYC next week. Several NYC Hawks are going to attend, and nary a one of us wanted a glimpse of her.
But, when asked why she changed her plans for her bus trip, here's the reply.
Why the change of plans? Certainly, Fonda is still very much against the war in Iraq and in favor of helping our troops there. But she said that she didn't want to distract people from Cindy Sheehan's bus trip, already under way and gathering support.
Translation. If Cindy's doing it first, then Fonda wouldn't come close to getting the media attention and other narcissistic props she wanted out of it.

Meanwhile, Sheehan, who is currently fielding offers to write books on her story, is now essentially profiteering from her son's death.
