More Rantings From A Lunatic Apocalyptist

More rantings from the insane dictator du jour, Ahmadi Nejad, President of Iran:
Hard-line Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, who said the Nazi attempt to eradicate Jews in the Holocaust was "myth," has now charged that European countries sought to complete the genocide by establishing Israel, a Jewish state in the midst of Muslim countries.

"Don't you think that continuation of genocide by expelling Jews from Europe was one of their (the Europeans') aims in creating a regime of occupiers of Al-Quds (Jerusalem)?" the official Islamic Republic News agency quoted Ahmadinejad as saying. "Isn't that an important question?"
In other words, Ahmadi Nejad appears to be suggesting in a moment of paranoid "insight" that the reason that the Europeans washed their hands of the Jews and foisted them upon a continent of Moslems, was with the tacit assumption that one day those Moslems would complete the Holocaust for them, hence doing their job. Let's not forget that this man believes in hastening the coming of the 12th Imam by whatever means will bring him.

A commentator asks: How does a dictator get elected. I refer him to Michael Ledeen's piece, When Is an Election Not an Election, written before the advent of Ahmadi Nejad. Although some of his speculations proved incorrect - because I don't think anyone in the West predicted the public lunacy of Ahmadi Nejad - the program as to electing him was consistent with other such programs in the past.
